I have the really fun job of connecting smart people with successful people.
You pick who is who... All I know is that I recommend that you friend the following people:
1. NadiaDaeng: http:/
She is a UFC PR/Marketing Genius from Singapore and is just super honest when she's venting about some jerk girl at her job.
2. OKGOSU: http:/
He is a technology writer and a well know author in Seoul. I recommend that if you ever go to seoul... you connect with OKGOSU. He is high society.
3. HyunWoo: http:/
HyunWoo is a Young Samurai. I'm not kidding. He is faster than most any Japanese Samurai master and more precise. He has to be. He is being trained by the Grand Master of the MuGaiRyu Samurai Clan directly. And he is in UW headed to Columbia University in NYC.
4. Natasha... http:/
Natasha is probably very stubborn. I put an ad out for a model and she was one of a few hundred submissions. She stood out even by her subject line. I asked for her to SELF shoot (which models HATE) and she did it.. .
This is when I got really specific and crossed my fingers hoping she wouldn't give up... She sent me an email back saying, "I'm determined to get it right!"
Being Korean. She did. The very next series of shots produced:

So here's me saying that if anyone wants a spokesperson / model who does NOT give up and adapts rapidly... I'm glad natasha is here at Koreanovernight.com
Lastly... I want all of you to meet
5. TaeMinnie: http:/
For having just joined... she is one of the most active users! Get to know her... and add her as a FRIEND!
PS... One realllly cool part about this site that you CANT DO with faceboook or myspace is that you can TAG SEARCH for anybody... for instance... if you are a girl and want to meet another female travel partner to singapore, you can simply click the FEMALE tag in your own profile to see who else comes up.
If you are a writer and need a korean speaking photographer, just tag search "Occupation" for photographer. It's all really cool stuff. Meet the people YOU WANT. And know that everyone already knows someone here PERSONALLY. Face to face.

social media, friends, people, influence, success, dale carnegie
Dale was right on the money. Nothing he said was off target or ineffective. But, everything he said, including "make others look good," and "give others credit for your successes" was from a by-gone era. It was all from 100 years ago.
Heck, they didn't even have paper back then.
If you were to try to apply his techniques today, would you even know which button to push on Twitter? Would you even know how to set up a Youtube fan page that links to your Youtube. And ultimately, would you know how to convince the most influential people in the room (the whole world is that room) to in-turn influence their devotees to do what you want them to do totally online in your boxers and beater?
You will now.

I don't know if you noticed or not but between telecom, the web, twitter, the crappy economy and 2NE1, interacting with Korea and Koreans stretching out to the Western world has become a opportunity rabbit hole (even if there is no such thing).
So jump in. Meet people. Think import export. Think friendships. Think Travel. And think 3 kids with someone who can make Soon Doo Boo Gook and Kim Chee!
